Senior Strategic Advisor/Consultant, Market Access (Europe/EMA)

Reports To: Principal Consultant/CEO

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Strategic Advisor/Consultant to join our growing team of experts in the rare disorders space. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional track record of success in developing and implementing effective Market Access strategies for rare disorder therapies, to include, HEOR, and pricing and reimbursement, in the EMA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Unlock market access for pharma & biotech across diverse products, with rare disorders as our specialty.
  • Forge winning MA strategies, aligning clients with regulators, payers, and patient needs.
  • Dive deep into rare disorder markets: analyse competitors, payer dynamics, and specific patient landscapes.
  • Craft compelling HEOR & MA reports for pricing & reimbursement submissions, driving success in the EMA region.
  • Assess economic & clinical value of rare disorder therapies through HEOR analyses (CBA, CEA, etc.).
  • Drive market access strategies by supporting pricing & reimbursement with HEOR reports & presentations.
  • Champion rare disorder HEOR expertise within the consultancy, staying current with EMA regulations & data.
  • Craft winning P&R strategies for rare disorder therapies in Europe, aligning clients with regulators and payers.
  • Leverage market insights and Pharmacoeconomics to build compelling pricing and reimbursement submissions.
  • Champion rare disorder P&R expertise, collaborating seamlessly with internal teams and staying ahead of EMA trends.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Market Access consulting with a strong focus on rare disorder therapies within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective market access strategies that have secured pricing and reimbursement approvals for rare disorder therapies across the EMA region
  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory, market access, HEOR, pricing, and reimbursement landscape for rare disorder therapies in the EMA region
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting market research, analysing payer behaviour, and developing pricing models
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in another European language is an asset
